Cubs, Sox Gatherings Still a Go

The Cubs have big plans for the 10th anniversary Cubs Conventionthis winter . . . provided it's not canceled by a prolonged baseballstrike.

"We won't make a decision on that for at least four to sixweeks," Cubs vice president of marketing John McDonough said of theteam's biggest charity and public relations event of the year.

"It's hard to believe, but it will be our 10th anniversary andwe have a number of special things planned," McDonough said. "But adecision would have to be made in the next several months."
