Fed: Brigitte may be brought back to Aust for terrorism trials
Attorney-General PHILIP RUDDOCK says alleged terrorist WILLIE BRIGITTE could be brought
back to Australia to give evidence.
Mr RUDDOCK says special visas are available to enable people overseas to give evidence
in trials in Australia.
BRIGITTE is being held in a French jail on terrorism-related charges.
There's speculation he may be required to give evidence in the trials of two Sydney
men who have been charged with terrorism-related offences.
But Mr RUDDOCK's told the Seven Network he's unsure if BRIGITTE would face trial in Australia.
He says that's a question for the police.
